Our Managing Director Sally Gordon started collating medical records in 1998 (alongside a very successful nursing career which started in 1982).
Medical Record Collation was born in 2008, when Sally left nursing to concentrate on the business full-time. The business went from Sally’s back bedroom, to a small office, to our current, large modern premises in Altrincham, Cheshire.
Right from the start, our USP has been our people. We’ve painstakingly tracked down and trained the most meticulous sorters. The same applies to our chronologers, who also bring with them a really wide range of specialities. Our Operations and Finance teams are friendly and approachable, but always diligent, knowledgeable and professional.
We’re not ones to rest on our laurels though. Sally is a founder member of PAGE (Pagination Accredited Group of Experts). This association has been established by four industry leading firms within the pagination sector – its purpose is to promote professional standards and best practice in the preparation of medical records for use in litigation.
MRC has witnessed many changes in the clinical negligence and personal injury worlds since its inception, but our staff have developed and maintained strong relationships with our clients and also a reputation for providing a first-class service at a fair price. We look forward to building that same relationship with you and your firm.
Sally sorts and paginates the records we receive on our medical negligence cases and complex PI matters. She prepares excellent chronologies that have been of immense help in the investigation and progression of our cases. Experts often comment on how well organised the records are. It helps us and the experts we instruct because the chronology is concise and to the point whilst also being thorough.
I have been working with nurse consultants in medico legal practice for over 14 years and Sally is one of the best I have had the pleasure to work with.
