Having recently exhibited at both the SCIL and AvMA Clinical Negligence Conferences, we took the somewhat unusual step at these events of listening to the delegates to find out what their concerns were when dealing with medical records and the implications of Fixed Recoverable Costs (FRC).
The short questionnaire, which was kindly completed by the delegates we spoke with, proved interesting reading:

- 93% of delegates would be interested in a more tailored, selective service to reduce costs in the early stages of a claim
Whilst we remain mindful of the Government’s concerns regarding costs in clinical negligence cases the information we have learnt confirms that MRC are already providing their clients with the tailored service they require with the flexible fee options needed to help support any forthcoming revised fee arrangements.
