MRC have recently said goodbye to two hugely valued members of our team…
Sheila joined me over 10 years ago, and was the first person to come aboard the MRC journey. We were then both working out of my back bedroom, until we reached a point where we could barely move for boxes of paper!
I owe Sheila a huge amount of gratitude for her many contributions and unwavering support. Like any business, we have had good times and bad times, and Sheila has been by my side throughout. She will be greatly missed. I’m not allowed to use the ‘retiring’ word so will say instead that she is leaving to spend more time with her gorgeous grandson Ioan and to go travelling… Covid permitting.
Sheila’s husband Howell joined MRC as a driver a couple of years ago, following his career working in Information Technology. Sheila’s plans obviously wouldn’t work without Howell, so we have also had to say another sad goodbye. He will be missed a great deal, not only by the team in the office but also by the clients he has met on his travels. Howell is a great conversationalist and story teller, and always full of interesting facts! Hence his huge success on ‘Who wants to be a Millionaire’ back in 2019.
Although it is sad for MRC, we do of course wish them the happiest, healthiest and most exciting of futures, especially once the world reopens.
In the meantime, see you both on the tennis court, when we’re allowed…
