It’s been an extremely busy few months for MRC, and we’ve been working flat out trying to meet the upsurge in demand that many of our clients are experiencing. But Sally and I decided, in spite of this, to attend AvMA’s 30th Annual Clinical Negligence Conference in Brighton last week. It’s a great opportunity for us to catch up with existing clients and hopefully meet some new ones. I’ve been at MRC for nearly a year now, but there are still a lot of faces to put to names.
GDPR compliance was still a hot topic. We spoke with a client who had just recently instructed us for the first time. She said she had chosen to work with us because of our GDPR compliance information. The other key message was how much our clients value the clinical specialisms of our chronologers (over 70 at the last count!), and what a difference that can make to a case.
But of course, it’s not all about work. A fair bit of Friday night (and Saturday morning) was spent on the dance floor. And a little bit of Friday and Saturday afternoon were spent in the sea! It was a lovely way to end two very busy days, and whilst the water was still chilly, we dried off quickly in the glorious weather we’ve been enjoying. I’m not sure I should make a habit of meeting clients for the first time in my swimsuit, but what can you do?
