There are a few things going on here at MRC that we would like to keep you updated on. We feel that it’s important to keep clients abreast of any substantial developments within the business.
Firstly, Sharon, our Operations Manager who has been with us for nearly 2 and a half years is moving on to pastures new. Some of you may know that Sharon’s husband Phil is a dog trainer and Sharon is going to be putting her time and energy into helping him develop their business. We are very sorry to be losing her and she will be missed not only by her colleagues in the office but also by many of our clients. To both of them we wish all the best in their exciting new adventure together…
Secondly, we are excited to be launching our new referral scheme. Word of mouth referrals still account for a large proportion of our work and whilst we always say ‘thank you’ it doesn’t really feel enough. So for every referral that results in a case you will receive a small gift as a token of our appreciation. In addition to this you will also be entered into our annual grand prize draw, the details of which can be found on our website at https://medicalrecordcollation.com/referrals/
Finally, Sally has been working with the owners of three other industry leading pagination providers to establish a professional association called PAGE. This stands for Pagination Accredited Group of Experts and its purpose is to promote professional standards and best practice in the preparation of medical records for use in litigation. Prior to founding PAGE and in response to the invitation from Lord Justice Jackson we collaborated to present a written submission about the proposed introduction of Fixed Recoverable Costs. In this we made recommendations for best practice and ultimately cost savings in the end-to-end-process, more specifically in relation to medical records.

That is probably enough for now and if you made it to the end – well done!
We shall be in touch again soon.
Best wishes
Sally and the team
